Shooting Stars
Capturing images of God's hidden treasures found in space
LONG EXPOSURE IMAGES OF FAINT DISTANT OBJECTS - MY DEEP SKY GALLERY
The Lord merely spoke, and the heavens were created. He breathed the word, and all the stars were born. - Psalm 33:6
I shoot deep sky objects at 1600iso with a Canon DSLR T3i camera (full-spectrum modified) with coma-corrector attached to an 8" Skywatcher Newtonion telescope on a NEQ-6Pro Skywatcher mount. A 2" LPR filter is attached to reduce light pollution. I computer guide with PHD and stack sub-frames in"Deep-Sky Stacker" and all final processing is completed in PhotoShop CS2. Some images have as little as 1.5 hours total exposure while others have up to 12 hours total exposure. Many images are taken over multiple nights, months and even years.
